Yes, the driver can provide you with a receipt for a cash journey whilst you are in the car. Account customers will receive an account statement which will include details of each journey and their prices.
Animals are carried at the drivers’ discretion and must be suitably contained where applicable. Passengers must declare at the time of booking if they are travelling with any type of animal so that the driver can be informed before being dispatched. It is a legal requirement that all drivers allow guide dogs into their vehicles unless they have a medical condition which would be affected by being in close contact with a dog.
No, it is not a legal requirement for children to be in a child seat in a DBC licensed vehicle but is entirely at the discretion of the parent or guardian. All children must use and adult seatbelt wherever possible, we carry a stock of various size child seats at our office with a nominal administrative fee. In addition, some of our drivers’ cars are fitted with child seats and boosters.
Drivers are entitled to a COA (cancellation on arrival)fee if you call to cancel after the driver has arrived at the pick up. You may also be charged if you do not give reasonable notice for cancelling out of area pickups or for specialised vehicles. Reasonable accepted notice is usually 15 minute for local jobs and 45/60 minutes for long distance journey.

No, we do not charge you any extra if your flight is delayed. We check your arrival time before we dispatch your driver. Drivers are dispatched one hour prior to the advertised landing times. The price you are quoted allows for up to 30 minutes waiting time after the plane lands. However, each period of 15 minutes after that time will be charged at £5. All parking and entrances are chargeable at cost.
Your driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals area with a meeting board. If you have provided your mobile number we can arrange to meet you outside the departures/arrivals hall, usually 30 minutes after the flight has been confirmed to land. Our office/driver may also call or text you while waiting outside the terminal in the pick-up area to tell you your vehicle registration and where he is waiting. Please take a note of our phone number at the time of booking in the event you need to call us.
